Donald Trump finds himself in the middle of some election controversy trying to get ahead of his opponent Hilary Clinton. Trump stated, “Russia if you’re listening, I hope you are able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing.” In regards to an email scandal that Clinton was involved in for the past year. Right after making this statement, Trump’s running mate Indiana Governor Mike Pence made a statement putting him somewhat distant from his partner, “If it is Russia and they are interfering in our elections, I can assure you both parties and the United States government will ensure there are serious consequences,”. Some are saying that this statement proves that Trump is not qualified to run for public office, while some others are calling it outright treason.
