EUCLID, OH (WOIO) –

The Euclid man dubbed a ‘serial egger’ caught a break from the judge at Tuesday’s sentencing.

Jason Kozan, 31, received a six month suspended sentence plus 18 months probation. Kozan pleaded guilty last week to inducing panic.

He was charged in March with vandalizing Albert Clemens’ Euclid home. He egged it more than 100 times between May 20, 2014 and June 26, 2015.

Clemens, his daughter and son all read victim statements at the sentencing.

“For over two years Jason Kozan subjected my family to a constant barrage of flying eggs, assorted produce such as apples, oranges, potatoes and grapefruits,” Albert Clemens said. “My daughter was hit squarely on the chest by an egg. I was narrowly missed by a flying potato. A responding officer was hit in the foot by an egg.”

“One night while waiting for the police to come I was hit in the chest with an egg,” said Clemens’ daughter.

Clemens said as a result of the attacks, he made 118 calls to the police.

Officers never said what motivated the attacks, but that they stopped after Kozan moved.
