Early voting in Franklin County is on pace to match the turnout of the 2012 presidential election. The Board of Elections says more than 18-thousand people have cast early ballots so far, despite the loss of the “golden week” in which voters could register and vote on the same day. More than 160-thousand people have requested absentee ballots.
