There’s no word yet on the source of a stinky odor reported across central Ohio. Residents of Columbus and several neighboring communities flooded fire departments, and utility companies with calls Tuesday, about a natural gas-like smell. No gas line leaks were found. A meteorological phenomenon called a “temperature inversion” could be to blame for holding ground air stagnant. I thought it was just me smelling that funk in the air.
