If I was “The Rock”, I would be smiling like this too! It has just been announced that he is making a whopping $20 million for the new movie he will be starring in. The 45 yr old will be starring in new flick called, Red Notice.

This new role comes after the surprise success of the film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, which he starred in with Kevin Hart. Jumanji made $850 million worldwide. This brought his stock all the way up. There was a bidding war for the new film and Universal/Legendary won. There’s a budget of $125-$150 million for the film. Johnson’s first leading film role was 2002’s Scorpion King which he was paid $5.5 million for. That was actually a world record for an actor starring in his first starring role. Congrats!!
