Flint is having a water crisis that compares to a third world country, but it’s an American city.
As people posted their posts on social media for #WorldWaterDay, people were bringing in awareness of the global shortage and destruction of our water supply. Many focus on their efforts in third-world countries but we still have a U.S. city that has no clean water.
Flint, Michigan hasn’t had clean water in 3 years, 10 months and 29 days and counting. This is happening in one of the most powerful nations in the world. Nearly 100,000 resident haveĀ been affected by the hazardous contaminated water since 2014.

Not to forget how this administration has still not properly helped Puerto Rico get back on their feet since Hurricane. The U.S. territory has been struggling with providing clean water throughout the island.
Clean water and access to it is a human right.
