The two time Grammy winning rapper and artist, LL Cool J, has stated that he intends to start a national satellite radio that features classic hip hop. The station, he calls “Rock the Bells Radio” will be launching on the Sirius radio network this today! In addition to the launch of the station, LL Cool J is hosting an invite-only skating event in Los Angeles.

LL Cool J aims to “create an avenue for old-school rappers to play their past songs and promote new work.” It seems that, in addition to the classic hip hop, he also intends for rappers and artists to promote and play new music on his station. The channel has feature interviews planned with Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and many more.
