In the words of Sheldon Pearce, contributing writer for Pitchfork, “The album is showy and upfront, at once brazen and vulnerable. On her assured and outspoken debut, Cardi shuffles from pop-rap to designer trap to sing-song ballads and strutting promenades.”

Cardi B is definitely seeing some pop spotlight as she holds multiple singles in the Billboard Top 100. Invasion of Privacy was RIAA certified Gold in less than 24 hours, and critics and experts say her newest album is poised to take the number one spot. If she takes the number one spot, it would make her only the fifth female rapper to do so.
