Great news for the city as Deputy Jacob Heaberlin was released from Grant Medical Hospital after being shot in the line of duty.
Heaberlin, 29, was escorted out the hospital by deputies and by looking at the pictures is in great spirits.
According to 10TV, Heaberlin was shot in his abdomen, just below his protective vest, after he pulled over a suspect who opened fire.
