Police found two men, 33-year-old Martin R. Harris and 22-year-old Demitrius D. McKnight both suffering from gunshot wounds. Harris, who was transported to Grant Medical Center, was pronounced dead. McKnight was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police have since identified McKnight as a suspect in Harris’s shooting and charged McKnight with murder. Police believe that this was during a home invasion and is drug related. Police are currently looking for a second suspect.
