Regional campuses excited to hear the new to help their students with financial aid.

The Ohio State University looks to expand financial aid services from its main campus to regional campuses.

The university looks to expand its program to help its 1,200 students in Lima, Mansfield, Marion and Newark campuses. The expansion will begin in spring 2019 spending $3 million a year to catch up those students to provide aid.

The aid begins this fall and sets up in-state students with federal Pell Grants to help students pay for mandatory fees that remain after federal and state aid is applied.
