There is huge issue going on in the city of Chicago that is not getting the attention of national news! A 5th young woman has gone missing and the body of another teen has been found.

According to NewsOne.com, ” On March 16, Anna Stanislawczyk, who was 18, went missing and has not been seen since. On April 25, 15-year-old Sadaria Davis vanished after leaving her East Garfield Park neighborhood in Chicago. On May 11, Davis’ body was found six blocks away from East Garfield Park in a vacant apartment. On May 25 it was Shantieya Smith, 26, and Victoria Garrett, 15, went missing on June 5. Now it is reported that a 13-year-old named Yasminda Mitchell has been unaccounted for since May 31.”

CBS Chicago reports Yasminda Mitchell “was last seen on May 31, 2018 in the area of 100 W. 47th Street. According to Chicago police, she also frequents the area near 6000-6300 S. Damen and 6300 S. Winchester. Shantieya Smith, who disappeared on May 26, has been found. The 26-year-old’s body was found in a garage in the North Lawndale area of Chicago and, says CBS, “The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office confirmed Tuesday the body was Smith’s.”

Chicago Police Department has not determined the cases are related but community activists believe there is a link.
