City leaders hope the new plan will help Short North residents and patrons find the task of locating parking easier. Some of the changes include prices increases of many of the meters and side streets require app payment.

Between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., Short North visitors will be able to park on side streets, but not for free. Visitors will need to pay the fee using the new Park Columbus App. Pricing can be found in the app. Residents will also need to get new permits that run $25 each.

According to MyFox28Columbus.com, the city will give out warning tickets before actual tickets to give visitors and residents a chance to acclimate to the new plan.
