Grammy Award singer Estelle recently stated how much she would like to work with the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige.
Estelle gained success after being featured with John Legend and Kanye West. When asked how she felt about Blige, the singer revealed that she was a big fan of her music would love to work with Mary in the near futurte.
“I love her! I keep saying that,” Estelle stated. “I’ve been saying that for a year now, so at some point it’s gonna’ happen.”
While Estelle works on her upcoming album “All of Me”, fans of both her and Mary J Blige have to wait for a collabo track, but Estelle doesn’t hesitate to talk about how Mary has influenced her.
“She’s the reason I sing,” Estelle said. Quite the compliment.
She recently met Blige for the first time in a nightclub in London. It has been reported that she was so moved by the encounter that she actually cried while meeting Blige. She was surprised to find that Blige not only knew who Estelle was, but was actually a fan of her music.
