Victoria Monét is keeping it real about her path to motherhood. She recently revealed that when she found out she was pregnant, someone on her team actually suggested she rethink keeping the baby—and even made a PowerPoint to back it up.

She admitted that at the time, she felt like she needed to apologize for being pregnant.

But despite the pressure, Victoria went forward with her decision and gave birth to her daughter, Hazel, in February 2021.

She later clarified that the person meant well, but it still hurt. Fast forward to today—Victoria’s thriving, Hazel’s thriving, and they even co-wrote a children’s book together.
