Can you dance? Then former “American Idol” judge Paula Abdul is looking for you. The singer/dancer/choreographer-turned-reality TV judge is getting ready to for her own CBS dance show, appropriately titled “Got To Dance.”

The American remake of a British hit show, “Got to Dance” is one of the most inclusive TV talent shows around. Billed as a midseason replacement show for the fall TV season, the show will crown the best dancer in America. THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT OR MINIMUM, so anyone from your toddler to your grandmother can try out. They are also auditioning both group and solo dancers, so this is your shot to show the world the talents you’ve been hiding away in your bedroom. And potential contestants can perform any style of dance, from hip-hop to capoeira to ballroom.

Abdul will coach, mentor and advocate for contestants and, as the show’s executive producer, will showcase the knowledge of dance that brought her from the Los Angeles Lakers’ dance squad to international stardom. “Got to Dance” could be the chance for someone else to get their big break on TV, courtesy of someone who has made it happen for herself.

If you think you’re that dancer or group that can win, go to www.cbs.com/dance to apply, or to obtain information on one of the upcoming open calls for auditions. Also visit this Paula Abdul Dance Show audition link.
