A mystery bidder paid big bucks to have Stevie Wonder give a private performance of his classic “Superstition” at their home. Following Wonder’s appearance at the benefit for Paul Newman’s Hole in the Wall Camps Thursday night at Lincoln Center, the charity received an unexpected “after hours” donation of $100,000 for an intimate, one-song concert with the superstar. The event — which, thanks in part to the generous Wonder fan, raised more than $3 million — attracted Meryl Streep, Bette Midler, Lyle Lovett, Renee Zellweger, Bill Cosbyand John Mellencamp.
