- Dies at age 82 in California
DICK CLARK
Nicknamed “Americas Oldest Teenager”
Has died today at the age of 82. Dick is most famous for
his New Years eve Televised events as well as the original host for
“American Bandstand” His peers regarded him as being funny, witty
and charming. A man so vibrant and full of life that brought smiles
in the room to every one he met. Clark had continued performing even
after hesuffered a stroke in2004 that affected his ability to
speak and walk. Spokesman Paul Shefrin says Clark died but did not provide further details.
