I’m pretty excited for this movie–simply because I am a huge Angela Bassett fan. “Betty & Coretta” follows Dr. Betty Shabazz (played by Mary J. Blige) and Coretta Scott King (played byAngela Bassett) as they continue their lives as single mothers, after their husbands, Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr., were assassinated.
Lifetime TV recently released a full trailer for the film which debuts Saturday, February 2 at 8/7c. Watch the trailer below.
