Michelle Obama will promote her Let’s Move initiative during a taped appearance at Cartoon Network’s Hall of Game Awards – the network’s first ever sports awards show.
The first lady will speak about the USDA’s U.S. Healthier Schools Challenge Award, developed as a voluntary national certification program crafted to bring schools closer to compliance with the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and the Institute of Medicine’s recommendations for food in schools.
FLOTUS will unveil a number of schools that have successfully created healthier environments through nutrition and physical activity under the initiative.
Hosted by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, the Hall of Game Awards airs at 7 p.m. ET on Feb. 25.
