L.A. REID LEAVES LABEL TO BE X-FACTOR JUDGE!
Antonio “L.A.” Reid is giving up his gig as chairman of Island/Def Jam Records to become a judge on Simon Cowell’s upcoming TV talent competition, The X Factor. Auditions start on March 27 in L.A. and X Factor debuts on Fox in September. L.A.’s contract with Island/Def Jam is set to expire in December.
