DMC APPOINTED TO BOARD OF KIDS CHARITY
The second part of the hip hop group Run-DMC, Darryll McDaniels, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of The Garden Dreams Foundation. The non-profit is a children’s foundation that works with the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, and Radio City Music Hall to give children access to celebrities, athletes, and inspirational figures. DMC will organize events with other children’s organizations including hospitals, “wish” organizations, and foster programs. He’s speaking out excitedly about the new opportunity telling AllHipHop.com, “I am thrilled to serve as a Board member for an organization that makes such a profound impact on children.”
