The most recent unemployment rates have been released and they do not show many signs of improvement. In July, the rate was at 8.1 percent, which is higher than the most recent rate of 8.3 percent. Last month, employers added 96,000 jobs, which is a low number in comparison to previous months. The number of jobs created this year is also considerably lower than 2011.
