Man Charged For Allegedly Punching Postal Worker, Attempting To Steal Mail Bag

A man is charged with robbery after allegedly trying to steal a postal worker’s mail bag.

According to court documents, Jason Richard Jordan allegedly punched a postal worker on June 10 during the theft attempt.

Documents stated that Jordan punched the man in the face, causing bruising around his eye.

Police said that Jordan fled without the mail bag and was later identified in a photo array and was charged.

The alleged incident took place at about 11:45 a.m. in the 2600 block of North High Street. SOURCE

Thieves Bust Hole In South Columbus Business

Thieves broke into a south Columbus business by busting a hole in the side of the building.

The burglary happened at a convenience store at the corner of Harmon and Greenlawn Avenues.

Police said the thieves stole a few items then took off.

Officers were looking for the suspects Tuesday morning.
