These cities were ranked based on population in a list of cities across the entire United States.

 

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus is used to being included on lists of “great” cities, but in one list, we’re near the bottom.

In terms of obesity rates, Ohio’s largest cities (with more than one million people) are near the bottom of the list.

Cincinnati was ranked the best in Ohio with an obesity rate of 26.5 percent.

Cleveland was next at 28 percent, followed by Columbus with an obesity rate of 28.7 percent.

In the medium category, which included cities with a population between 300,000 and 999,999, Canton was best with 28.9 percent.

Dayton came in at a rate of 30.8 percent, and Toledo was worst at 34.2 percent.
