10 TV reports that The Ohio State University Buckeyes Football team dismissed running back Rod Smith on Monday night. Sources report Smith, a senior from Fort Wayne, Ind., was dismissed for breaking team rules. OSU is not commenting on the dismissal and no further details have been released.
Smith played in seven games this season as a back-up. He had 24 carries for 102 yards and scored four touchdowns.
