Lifetime is at it again. After what was considered an epic fail with the Aaliyah bioptic, they have a chance to redeem themselves with their upcoming Whitney Houston bioptic. The Lifetime move is directed by Angela Bassett, who did an amazing job playing Tina Turner and it stars Yaya DaCosta (from America’s Next Top Model and The Butler.) It premieres on Saturday January 17 at 8/7c on Lifetime. The movie trailer actually looks pretty good, so I am going to give Lifetime one more chance.
