I don’t know about you, but these gas prices are giving me life. In case you didn’t know, gas prices are still less than $2 after the long weekend.
According to ABC 6/ Fox 28, the average was $1.97 per gallon of regular gas in Tuesday’s survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and WEX Inc. That’s two cents more than a week ago and $1.27 cheaper than this time last year.
The state average has dropped below $2 in recent weeks for the first time in more than five years.
A surge in oil and gas companies pulled the stock market out of a five-day slump last week, as the price of crude swung higher.
The national average Monday was $2.05 for regular gas, up seven cents from last week.
