Columbus Number Three On List Of Bedbug Cities

Ewww! Did you know that Columbus is on a list no one wants to be on, Orkin’s annual list of “Bedbug Cities?”

According to 10TV, the pest control company bases this list on the number of treatments they perform throughout the year. Last year was especially busy, Orkin reported an 18 percent increase in business.

Ranked third, just behind Chicago and Detroit, Columbus is pretty high. CBS lists the rest of the cities here. Alongside the capital city, Cleveland and Cincinnati are also in the top 10.

When it comes to a place to settle down, bedbugs do not care where they infest as long as people live there. Pest control companies clear homes, office buildings and even five-star restaurants. Be on the lookout for these flesh-eating critters.
