According to Fox 28, a man was shot and killed while children were in an East Columbus home early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to 368 North Roosevelt Avenue Apt. 2 before 4:00 a.m. on a report of a shooting.
Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene minutes later, homicide sergeant Jeff Strayer said. Neighbors heard shouting prior to gunfire, Strayer said.

Police are currently searching for suspect, Sherrod Larry-Donnel Gamble. Gamble has been charged with murder, and officials say he may be armed and dangerous.
A girl around six years old and a teenage boy were also in the home, but were not hurt, Strayer said.
Investigators are questioning them with their mother, and it’s not clear whether or not the children witnessed the incident, he said.
