According to 10TV, a mall in southeast Columbus has finally been sold after being on the market since last year. The Columbus Dispatch reports that Eastland Mall, located near Refugee Road and I-270, has been sold for $9.7 million to Eastland Mall Holding.

The sale officially closed on May 1. Glimcher Reality listed the mall on Auction.com in March with a minimum asking price of $5 million. In February, an $18 million bid was rejected by the owners. The auction site stated that Eastland Mall is “a strategically positioned, single-story enclosed super-regional mall.”

Eastland was built in 1968 and acquired by Glimcher for $29.7 million in 2003.
