COLUMBUS, Ohio- ResponsibleOhio’s petition to put a marijuana legalization amendment on the November ballot is short on signatures.

The group submitted 276,082 valid signatures, but needed at least 305,591, according to Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted’s office. Now, ResponsibleOhio has 10 days to collect the difference.

The proposed amendment would allow people ages 21 or older to purchase and consume pot in Ohio. It would also make medical marijuana legal.
