CLEVELAND – Twitter briefly blew up Monday morning with false news that Josh Gordon had been arrested again for DWI.
11Alive, a news station in Atlanta, posted a story about the wide receiver’s arrest around noon Monday with a publishing date of Aug. 10, 2015, creating a social media frenzy.
Shortly after, the station issued a correction, saying that while they were doing maintenance on their site, the 2014 story about Gordon’s arrest was auto-retweeted.
