SATURDAY, AUGUST 15
Interstate 270 (East Side) – (NEW) I-270 north will be reduced to two lanes between I-670 and Easton Way at 9 pm for roadwork. The following ramps will also be closed:
I-670 east to I-270 north. The detour is I-670 east to I-270 south to Hamilton Rd. to I-270 north. And the ramp from US 62 west to I-270 north. The detour is US 62 west to I-270 south to Hamilton Rd. to I-270 north. All lanes and ramps open by 5 am.
Interstate 71 (North Side) – (NEW)I-71 south will be reduced to two lanes at Hudson Street at 8 p.m. for bridge demolition. At 10 p.m., I-71 south will be reduced to one lane. At midnight, I-71 south will close under Hudson Street. Traffic must exit at Hudson Street and go straight to re-enter I-71 south via the entrance ramp. All lanes will be open by 8 a.m. Sunday.
SUNDAY, AUGUST 16
Interstate 270 (North Side) (NEW) – I-270 east will be reduced to three lanes between Cooper Road and Dempsey Road from 3 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work. The ramp from SR 3 north and south to I-270 east will also be closed. The detour for SR 3 south is SR 3 to SR 161 to I-270 south. The detour for SR 3 north is SR 3 to Schrock Road to Cleveland Ave. to I-270 east.
Interstate 270 (North Side) (NEW) – I-270 west will be reduced to one lane between Cooper Road and Dempsey Road from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work.
State Route 3 (Northeast Side) (NEW) – The ramp from SR3 north and south to I-270 east will be closed from 3 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work. The north bound detour is SR 3 to SR 161 to I-270 south. The south bound detour is SR 3 to Schrock Road to Cleveland Ave. to I-270 east.
Interstate 70 (Downtown) (NEW) –
At 7 p.m., I-70 east will be reduced to two lanes between Broad Street and Glenwood Ave. The following ramps will also be closed:
- Broad Street to I-70 east
The detour is Broad Street to Central Ave. to Mound Street to I-70 east
At 9 p.m., I-70 east will be reduced to three lanes between Central Ave. and SR 315. The following ramps will also be closed:
- I-70 west/I-71 south to I-71 ramp
I71 south to I-670 west to SR 315 south to I-71 south
- I-70 east to I-71 south
The detour is I-70 east to I-270 south to I-71 south
- I-71 south to Greenlawn Ave.
I-71 south to Frank Road to I-71 north to Greenlawn Ave.
At 10 p.m., I-70 west will be reduced to one lane between Scioto River and Souder Avenue.
All lanes and ramps open by 5 a.m.
270/33 interCHANGE
Ongoing Work
270/33 – 33 EB and WB is closed east of 270 to build four new bridges. The detour is 270 NB to Sawmill Pkwy to 270 SB to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. Two of the eight ramps at the interchange are also closed:
- 33 WB to 270 SB
Detour: 33 WB to 270 NB to Sawmill Pkwy. to 270 SB
- 270 SB to 33 EB
Detour: 270 SB to Tuttle Crossing Blvd. to 270 NB to 33 EB

I-270/CLEVELAND AVENUE
Ongoing Work
Cleveland Avenue – Cleveland Avenue is reduced to two northbound lanes and one southbound laneon the bridge over I-270 for bridge replacement. ODOT is replacing the bridge half at a time so that traffic can be maintained. That means the right lane of Cleveland Avenue south coming from Westerville is exit only to I-270 west. Only the left lane will be able to continue south on Cleveland Avenue.
ODOT has also posted signs for an alternate route for motorists on Cleveland Avenue that need to get south of I-270. Coming from Westerville, drivers can take I-270 west to I-71 south to SR 161 east to Cleveland Avenue. Completion: October 2015.

MONDAY, AUGUST 17
I-270 –EASTBOUND ONLY (NEW)
– At 7 pm, I-270 EB will be reduced to three lanes between US 23 and I-71 for bridge work.
– At 9 pm, I-270 EB will reduced to two lanes between US 23 and I-71 for bridge work.
– At 10 pm, the following ramps will be closed:
US 23 SB to 270 EB. The detour is continue south on US 23 to Rt. 161, turn left to I-71 to 270 EB.
SR 315 NB to 270 EB. The detour is 270 WB to Sawmill Rd. to 270 EB.
– By 5 am, all lanes on 270 EB and ramps are open.
TUESDAY, AUGUST 18
I-270 EASTBOUND AND WESTBOUND – (NEW)
– At 7 pm, I-270 EB will be reduced to three lanes between US 23 and I-71 for bridge work.
– At 9 pm, I-270 EB will be reduced to two lanes between US 23 and I-71 for bridge work.
– At 11 pm, I-270 EB will be reduced to one lane, and I-270 WB will be reduced to three lanes between US 23 to I-71 for bridge work.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19

At 11 pm, I-270 WB is reduced to one lane between US 23 and I-71 for bridge work>

THURSDAY, AUGUST 20
I-270 WESTBOUND ONLY (NEW)
At 7 pm, I-270 WB is reduced to three lanes
At 9 pm, I-270 WB is reduced to two lanes.
At 10 pm, the ramps from US 23 NB to 270 WB will close. The detour is E. Campus View, right on Vantage Dr., left on Dimension Dr., left on Highcross, left on E. Campus View, left on US 23.
At 5 pm, all ramps and lanes of I-270 WB will be open.
Ongoing Work
Dimension Drive – Dimension Dr. is closed at US 23 until August. Drivers should take US 23 north to E. Campus View Blvd., turn right on Vantage to Dimension Dr.
For W. Campus View Blvd. and York Temple Dr., drivers should take US 23 north, turn right on E. Campus View Blvd., turn right on Vantage, left on Dimension, left on High Cross and left on E. Campus View Blvd. From there, motorists can go straight through the light to get to W. Campus View Blvd. and York Temple Dr. Completion: August 2015.
Radio City Drive (North Side) – Radio City Drive is closed at US 23. If north on US 23, you should turn right at E. Campus View Boulevard. If south on US 23, you will be able to turn left onto E. Campus View Blvd and left onto Crosswoods Drive, which turns into Radio City.
NO LEFT TURN ONTO FLINT RD. FROM US 23 SOUTH – Detour is to turn left at Lazelle Road to get to Flint Rd. from US 23 South. Travelling north on US 23, you will be able to access Flint Rd.
NO LEFT TURN ONTO W. CAMPUS VIEW BOULEVARD – Motorists north on US 23 will NOT be able to turn left onto W. Campus View Blvd. The detour for W. Campus View is right onto E. Campus View Blvd., right onto Vantage, left onto Dimension, left onto High Cross, and left on E. Campus View and straight through the light.
York Temple Drive (North Side) – Access to York Temple from US 23 is closed permanently. Instead, motorists must use the new road from W. Campus View Boulevard.
If you are north on US 23, you must right onto E. Campus View Blvd., right onto Vantage, left onto Dimension, left onto High Cross, and left on E. Campus View and straight through the light. Once you cross US 23, turn left on York Temple Drive.
South on US 23, you will turn right on W. Campus View then left on York Temple Drive.

ONGOING WORK
Hudson Street (North Side) –Early Monday morning just after the stroke of midnight, Hudson Street will close for two and a half months to replace the bridge over Interstate 71. All ramps will remain open, but neither drivers nor pedestrians will be able to travel across the Hudson St. bridge.
The detour for westbound traffic is I-71 north to Weber Road to I-71 south to Hudson Street. The detour for eastbound traffic is I-71 south to 17th Avenue to I-71 north to Hudson Street.
For pedestrian traffic, the detour is Hiawatha Street.
Completion: October 22.
Interstate 270/US Route 40 (East Side) – The ramp from I-270 south to US 40 (Main Street) west is closed. The closure is necessary to facilitate the bridge replacement on US 40 over the Big Walnut Creek. The detour is I-270 south to SR 16 (Broad Street) west to SR 317 (Hamilton Road) south to US 40 (Main Street). Completion: October 2015.
Hamilton Road – Hamilton Rd. will be reduced to one lane of two way traffic between US 62 and Clark State Rd. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for construction. Completion: September 2017.
