Gerald Slink Johnson stars as Black Jesus in the controversial Adult Swim show. Season two premieres tonight and Gerald talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about what to expect and what his family really thinks about him portraying Jesus Christ.
“There are so many adventures to be had in Season two of Black Jesus. He’s going to spread love and kindness like he always does,” Johnson said. “My family loves it. They know what kind of guy I am and they know my heart.”
