CLEVELAND-– The officers involved in the Tamir Rice shooting gave statements to Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s detectives that were read to a grand jury in lieu of their testimony.
Henry Hilow, who represents Officers Frank Garmback and Timothy Loehmann, told FOX 8 the statements were made late Monday afternoon.
The grand jury has been hearing the case since late October.
On Monday, Tamir’s mother and two of his siblings testified in front of the grand jury.
