CLEVELAND– Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson said an administrative review is next in the Tamir Rice case. The mayor and Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams spoke out following the grand jury’s decision not to charge the officers in the Tamir Rice case. Chief Williams said both Officer Timothy Loehmann and Officer Frank Garmback will remain on restricted duty until the review is complete. Williams said it’s not known how long the administrative review will take, but a committee will get to work and look at all the evidence and testimony and forward a recommendation to his office. Police were called to Cudell Recreation Center in Cleveland on Nov. 22, 2014 after a 911 caller reported a male in the area waving a gun.
