According to Fox 28, all lanes of SR-104 under US-23 and the US-23 overpass will be closed until 5:00 AM Monday after a truck hit the bridge.

ODOT says the truck had part of its frame raised as it went under the bridge that carries US-23 traffic over 104 on the south side. The impact was so great, officials say a 12,800 pound steel beam was partially sheared off. Two other steel beams were also damaged and will have to be replaced.

ODOT released video from traffic cams that shows when the truck hit the bridge. You can see that here.

The beams support the bridge deck that traffic drives on. Contractors will begin work early Saturday morning.

Here’s a look at how ODOT says traffic will be routed in the area:

US 23 over 104 will remain closed.

US23 north will be detoured to Dering to Parsons Ave to 23.

SB 23 will exit west to 104 to 71 SB to 23.

104 under 23 will remain closed under 23.

104 EB traffic will beau maintained using the exit and entrance ramps at 23. 104 WB will do the same.

By Monday morning at 5 am, all lanes if 104 east and westbound will be open as they were prior to the bridge hit. US 23 north over 104 will be reduced to one lane and southbound will have two lanes.
