At this point Kanye West’s Twitter account is basically just a constant stream of excitement. You never know what he’s going to say. And sometimes, he jumps online just to share his thoughts on something he likes. We all do.
This afternoon in a random sequence of tweets, The Life of Pablo rapper talked about his love of Zoolander 2 and Will Ferrell. The film released on Feb 12 to sour reviews with Ferrell playing the role as the villain, Mugatu. And while critics may not love the film, Ye’ admits to seeing it twice—and loving it!
“Will Ferrell has reached walking living breathing god status!,” West said. “His existence is a blessing.”
He goes on to note that the former Saturday Night Live cast member is “Bruce Lee status” and “inspiring”. The pair have actually worked together in the past when West made a special appearance in the final fight scene of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues in 2013. While we’re not sure if they’ve kept in contact, it’s nice to see one artist supporting another—something Kanye has been doing a lot of lately.
In other Yeezy news, he announced the working title for his next album, Turbo Grafx 16. Per his Twitter account he said the album is coming this summer. But as we all know, drop dates are never solid with Mr. West.
