Say it ain’t so!!! Beyonce’s activewear line is reportedly being made in sweatshops. The line is called “Ivy Park,” named after her daughter Blue Ivy. Reportedly, the sweatshop is in Sri Lanka and the workers are only making about six bucks a day!!! They also say, many of the workers are poor young women working about 60-hours per week with no time off. Queen Bey’s team released a statement saying they’re proud of their efforts to inspect factories and ensure workers have decent working conditions. Hmmmmmmm I sure hope this isn’t true, if so, I’d have to think twice about pouring up more of the Lemonade she’s serving.
