You may get an extra week of early voting under a federal judge’s ruling. The court ruled Tuesday, that state elections officials violated voters’ rights by eliminating the so-called “golden week” when voters can register and vote at the same time. If higher courts agree, early voting in Ohio would be extended to 35 days before the November election. The bill is expected to be passed one day this week.
