CLEVELAND – Between the RNC and booming residential property, downtown Cleveland is becoming a great location for retail.

There are 7 pop-up stores moving into The Arcade during the Republican National Convention.

“You have a downtown population that’s absolutely exploding. And you have a number of visitors coming to town exploding,” David Gilbert, President of the 2016 Cleveland host committee said.

There will be nearly 50,000 people visiting during the convention and owner of The Hidden Closet, Linda Marconi, is really hoping the pop-up shops will be a success.

Marconi is only renting during the month of July and will decide if she wants to extend her lease depending on sales during the RNC.

“And everybody kept saying the parking, you know, riots, they did put a little fear in me but, I just think it’s a very exciting time.”

From ladies clothes to men’s clothes to bath and body products to dining, there are options for everyone.
