According to CNN, President Obama is about to address the country amidst two police deaths involving civilians. Philando Castile was shot 5 times in his arm as police pulled him over for a busted tail light in front of his girlfriend and child. His girlfriend streamed live on Facebook immediately after the police officer shot him as proof to show the aftermath of what happened. Mark Dayton, Minnesota Governor, stated in a press conference, “….the victim was not given first aid, and his girlfriend was handcuffed, taken to the station with her 4 year old daughter…..I find this appalling on all levels.”

36 hours before, a video surfaced online of Alton Sterling being slammed to the ground and shot at point blank range in front of a store selling CDs after a call came in from a homeless man that a man was threatening people with a gun out side of the store.
