Columbus school board members want to work with you and the community to put an end to violence near schools. The district is planning a special meeting to address school safety, after last week’s shooting of two students outside Linden-McKinley STEM Academy. Community members will be given a chance to offer ideas to stop violence. There’s no word yet on details of the meeting. Doing something is better than sitting back waiting for something to happen.
