The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin went to Church when she sang the National Anthem for almost 5 minutes! Serenading the crowd at the Lions Stadium in Detroit where the Lions played the Minnesota Vikings on Thanksgiving Day.
Twitter erupted with lots of “Hallejuah,” and “YAASSSS” and “sang it girl” but not all were happy about the long performance.
Either way, Franklin is a national treasure and if she wants to sing for 5-minutes well go ahead.
