Childish Gambino AKA Donald Glover and James Earl Jones are set to be voices in brand new CGI, live action Lion King remake. Jon Favreau posted a picture of Glover on his IG with the caption “I just can’t wait to be king. #Simba”. James Earl Jones will reprise his role as Mufasa, just like the original 1994 animated film. Disney is on a roll with the live action remakes starting with last year’s Jungle Book and this year’s highly anticipated Beauty and the Beast, the takeover of the theater seems to be under way. Donald Glover is really making a name for himself on the big screen after taking over the small screen with hit television show Atlanta. While the Lion King trailer isn’t available yet, take a look at the Beauty and the Beast trailer scheduled to hit theaters next month.
