Get ready for some new Prince music – for real this time!

Before the one-year anniversary of Prince’s death, a Minnesota judge blocks the release of a potential new LP. Now fans may finally get their wish for some new music.
NPG and Warner Bros. Records announced they will reissue Prince’s classic “Purple Rain” album but add six new tracks. Too add remastered versions of “Possessed” and “Electric Intercourse,” the latter of which was just released on Spotify.
For the weary fan, Warner Bros said these remastered songs were being worked on by Prince himself one year before his death. So they will definitely be legit in the eyes of the Purple One.
