The name Lainie Kazan may not sound familiar but you sure do know her face. Even though she has tons of acting accolades under her belt, she was most known for her role as the mom in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” Well, this past weekend, she was arrested for shoplifting about $200 worth of groceries from a store in California.
According to TMZ, she put the food into reusable bags and just walked out the store. When she was caught, her excuse was that she had no money on her. She was handcuffed, arrested for petty theft, cited and released without bail. Wonder what made her think this was okay?
