The city made the Top 20 list to host Amazon’s second HQ space.
Columbus is the only city in Ohio competing to host Amazon’s new headquarters.
If the online retailer chooses Columbus they can bring 50,000 new jobs and a $5 billion investment.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich said, “it’s good that we’re making these lists.” He says the state will do what it can to help Columbus land the final bid. One thing the Governor may need to compromise is tax breaks, grants and incentives for Amazon said the city that can offer them a great deal will include these focal points.
Amazon currently has headquarters in Seattle, WA but is seeking the second space will help the company’s rapid business growth.
