Central Ohio is also gaining on Cincinnati in population.
The U.S. Census were released Thursday that show that Columbus has surpassed in population by 20,000 people.

The 2017 estimates show the state capital with 2,078,844 and Cleveland right behind with 2,058,844 residents. Cincinnati still is the number one populated city with 200,000 more people compare to Columbus.
